Service as a nonprofit begins with our Board of Commissioners. As the highest-ranking position within the medical center, it comes with an important responsibility for stewardship of the goals and principles of our nonprofit, community-owned medical center.

Our Board of Commissioners has the primary legal and moral responsibility for the governance of our medical organization and for shepherding the medical center's principles to ensure they are carried out.
To carry out our principles, our focus is to maintain the confidence and support of our colleagues, contributors, volunteers and the public of which we serve. These important aspects of nonprofit governance depend on our Board of Commissioners and Administrative leaders who live our shared values each and every day.
Our leadership pays close attention to these responsibilities — as our sole purpose is to care for the health and well-being of our community.
